আজ আপনাদের জন্য "Right form of verb  এর  সহজ শর্টকাট টেকনিক, একটু হলেও কাজে আসবে৷৷ " আলোচনা করব৷

আপনারা  আগে কে কিভাবে পড়েছেন জানিনা। তবে আজক আমি যে কৌশলটা শেয়ার করব, এভাবে পড়লে আপনি যেকোনো পরীক্ষায়  full marks পাওয়ার সক্ষমতা  রাখবেন, ইনশাআল্লাহ!

এবার Right form the verb গুরুত্বপূর্ণ ১০টি Rules এর শর্টকাট টেকনিকসহ আলোচনা করা যাক :

Rules 1: যদি Sentenceটি Present indefinite tense বা Present simple tense  হয় এবং Subject যদি Third Person singular number হয়, তখন main verb-এর সাথে s/es যুক্ত হবে।

For Example :

1. He (play) badminton.

Ans: He plays badminton.

2. The lady (cry).

Ans.: The lady cries.

Rules 2:  যদি কোনো Simple  Sentence এ দুটি verb থাকে তাহলে পরবর্তী verb টির সাথে ing যুক্ত হয়৷ উল্লেখ্য, যদি উদ্দেশ্য বুঝায় তাহলে To+  verb এর Present form বসে৷

For Example :

1. I saw him (cut)  a bamboo.

Ans: I saw him cutting  a bamboo.

2. We eat to (live).

Ans: We eat to live.(উদ্দেশ্য বুঝিয়েছে এখানে)

Rules 3: To ছাড়া সকল preposition এর verb সাথে  ing যুক্ত হয়৷ To এর পরে সাধারণত Verb এর present form বসে৷

For Example  :

1. He stopped thinking of-(do) this.

Ans: He stopped thinking of doing this.

2. They have succeeded in -(pass) - in the exam.

Ans: They have succeeded in passing in the exam.

Rules 4: কোনো Sentence -এ just, just now, already, yet, ever, recently, lately ইত্যাদি থাকলে present perfect tense হয়৷

For Example :

1. Rima -(take) -her dinner just now.

Ans: Rima has taken her dinner just now.

Rules 5: (i) If যুক্ত clause-এর প্রথম অংশটুকু যদি Present indefinite tense হয় তাহলে পরের অংশটুকু Future indefinite হবে৷

For Example :

1. If he comes here, I -(go)- there.

Ans:If he comes here, I will go there.

(ii) If যুক্ত clause-এর প্রথম অংশটুকু যদি Past indefinite tense হয় তাহলে পরের অংশটুকু Past conditional  হবে৷

[Past conditional এর  structureটি হবে ‘If + Past indefinite, (Su

bject + would/could/might + verb-এর Present form)।

For Example :

1. If he wrote it, I -(give)-him a gift.

Ans: If he wrote it, I would give him a gift.

(iii) If যুক্ত clause-এর প্রথম অংশটুকু যদি Past perfect  tense হয় তাহলে পরের অংশে would have/could have/might have বসে এবং

verb-এর Past participle form হয়।

For Example :

1. If he had seen me I -(go)- there.

Ans: If he had seen me I would have gone there.

Rules 6: যদি কোনো sentence-এ  While থাকে এবং while-এর পরে verb থাকে তাহলে verb-এর সাথে ing যোগ হয়। আবার যদি

while-এর পরে subject থাকে তাহলে Past continuous tense হয়।

For Example :

1. While -(go)- to the school,  he saw me on the road.

Ans: While going  to the school,  he saw me on the road.

2. While he -(go)-to the school,  he saw me on the road.

Ans: While he was going to the school,  he saw me on the road.

Rules 7: কোনো Sentence এর মাঝে  Before থাকলে এবং Sentence টি Past tense হলে Before পূর্বের অংশে Past perfect tense এবং

পরের অংশে Past indefinite tense হয়।

(i) Past perfect + before+Past indefinite.

(ii) Future Indefinite + before + Present Indefinite.

For Example :

1. The  old women  -(die)- before the girl  -(come).

Ans: The  old women  had died before the girl  came.

2. Rana will go before he -(come).

Ans: Rana will go before he comes.

Rules 8: কোনো Sentence এর মাঝে  After থাকলে এবং Sentence টি Past tense হলে After পূর্বের অংশে  Past indefinite tense এবং

পরের অংশে Past perfect tense হয়।

(i) Past indefinite + after + Past perfect

(ii) Present Indefinite + after + Present perfect.

For Example :

1. He comes daily after my brother has come.

2. The girl came after the old women had died.

Rules 9: (i) কোনো Sentence এর মাঝে since clause  থাকলে এবং

since-এর আগের অংশটুকু Present indefinite/

Present perfect tense হলে পরের অংশটকু Past

indefinite tense হবে।

For Example :

1. It is many days since I (give) up job.

Ans : It is many days since I gave up job.,

(ii)আবার কোনো Sentence এর মাঝে since clause  থাকলে এবং

since-এর আগের অংশটুকু Past indefinite tense হলে পরের অংশটুকু past perfect  হবে।

For Example :

1. Many days passed since I (meet) her last.

Ans : Many days passed since I had met her last.

Rules 10: As if, As though যদি  Sentence এর মাঝে

থাকলে প্রথম clauseটি Present tense হলে

পরবর্তী clauseটি Past indefinite হয়। যদি  প্রথম

clauseটি Past tense হয় তসহলে পরের clauseটি Past

perfect tense হবে।

For Example :

1.  He behaves as if he -(know)-everything.

Ans: He behaves as if he knew everything.
